Lagunas Rancho
Completed in 2007, the Lagunas Rancho was the first building on the Lagunas property. With the best views from the site, it functions as a bar, hangout space, and covered sleeping porch and includes a bathroom and kitchenette. The rancho draws its design from local materials and traditional building practices. An openwork masonry screen provides air, light, and glimpses of the landscape beyond, and an ornate iron screen inspired by vernacular styles secures the area. The design employs a tropical aesthetic perfect for lying on a hammock and enjoying the beautiful ocean view.
