Privacy Policy
Forsite Studio (“Forsite Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through forsitestudio.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and the dates and times of your visits, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your project; to operate, maintain, and improve the Site; to understand how visitors use the Site; to protect the security and integrity of the Site; and to comply with our legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers that help us operate the Site and our tools (for example, Squarespace for hosting and analytics, Google for analytics, and Meta for advertising measurement), and with others when required by law or to protect our rights. Some sharing for analytics or advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state laws — see Section 6.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, which may include Squarespace’s built-in analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of certain analytics and advertising, for example through Google’s opt-out tools and Meta’s ad settings. Where required, we honor applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
5. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, the Site does not currently respond to them, except as described for opt-out preference signals above.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information:
- Texas residents (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act): to confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, without discrimination for exercising these rights.
- EEA/UK residents (GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 8. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention & Security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
