Terrace Residence
Terrace Residence is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic Tudor design with a new main house and restored 1928 guest house in Travis Heights. The home combines traditional architectural character with contemporary detailing through the use of stone, tile, custom cabinetry, and metal railings. Large openings connect the interior to outdoor living spaces, creating a practical and well-balanced relationship between inside and outside.
Terrace Residence is designed to sit within the existing Travis Heights neighborhood context. While maintaining an open interior, rooms are organized for both daily living and gathering, using natural light and clear sight lines to define movement throughout the home. Textured materials and precise detailing are used throughout the site to create a consistent finish. The restored guest house and primary residence form a unified composition based on material integrity and contextual design.
