Pedestrian Elevated Walkway
As part of the Waller Creek Redevelopment in downtown Austin, a 1,600 sf elevated walkway connects Palm Park to the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. This walkway is part of The Confluence, a larger effort to revitalize Waller Creek and create a 1.5-mile greenway. Clad in 2" x 6" Tantimber Thermowood Ash, a challenging aspect of this install was the required chamfering of each board to accommodate the sinuous path.
